Woofer Foam Repair
Replacing a woofer with Ford's factory installed speakers?
I have a Ford. I replaced the factory speakers with tweeters woofers, and a passive crossover. This is the second car I've had in them, and now the foam around the woofers deteriorated. You can not afford to replace or repair with a repair kit of foam. Is there any problem replacing the woofers with the speakers installed in the factory, leaving the tweeters and crossovers there? How serious is the sound quality?
