Anthony Wayne Stewart is a NASCAR driver Sprint Cup. He was born May 20, 1971, in Columbus, Indiana. One thing that Stewart wants, that's racing.

While growing up, he developed a keen interest in go-karts. He started the race, and in 1987 he became the champion of the Association Karting World. This is only the beginning of his long list of accomplishments. Apart from go-karts, he also tried riding three dwarfs quarter and races. He joined the United States Auto Club Series. For his debut, he won the rookie of the year. It has been relatively successful in auto racing open-wheel.

He had the beginnings of interest in the NASCAR Sprint Cup. He faced the racer-very supportive, Dale Earnhardt Jr. in a Gatorade Twin 125 races. Although Earnhardt won, Tony Stewart has caught much attention from spectators. He gained more following as he continued run. Many were impressed in his strong finishes. He always managed to find a place in the top ten. It made him worthy of winning another rookie competition year, this time in the Winston Cup.

After winning the Rookie of the Year Award in 1999, it did not show any signs of slowing. During the next season, it was still compatible with its capacity to conduct high. Although this was the case, competition was stronger. The close competition caused him to fall to sixth place. However, he won the midget car race in the Grand Prix of Turkey at night and it could not be prouder.

The following season, Stewart was in an accident during the race, but managed to walk without major injuries. Controversy also filled the season. He had a bad encounter with a NASCAR official for certain violations. He also had some unlikely encounter with another driver, Jeff Gordon. This led to his collage. Many consider him the greatest short tempered. These meetings have earned him the nickname of the enfant terrible of NASCAR.

He a good race in 2002. It did not good for him though. He earned a seventh place ranking in the first part of the season. NASCAR has placed freedom arrest after a misunderstanding with a photographer at the brickyard 400. However, this does not affect its ability to drive. He had a good race at the last races. At the end of the year, he had his first title of Champion of the Winston Cup.

Over there are quite a few highlights of his career in 2004. He started strong. He had significant victories in Chicagoland and Watkins Glen International. He has also worked with two great drivers of NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Andy Wallace for the 24 Hours of Daytona. Although they have a good start, they were not able to get away, they stay broken and shattered the rear wheels.

The next season was a success. It included his second NASCAR Nextel Cup title. However, he missed his chance to win again in 2006.

Tony Stewart is a talented race car driver. However, not only the culmination of his career. He also made its mark because of various unpleasant encounters he had with other drivers and officials.
