I just ran 12GA 2conductor speaker wire to the location of the subwoofer. I can not move the subwoofer coaxial or run on the surface. Is there a way to use my cable to run This self-powered sub. I have an outlet so all you need to do is to transmit the signal through the speaker cable. Is this possible?

In Not really. You must be running a level line interconnection to the location of the submarine. The speaker wire is unshielded and is susceptible to noise; this is especially bad for subwoofers, and you'll be happy and play loud 60 Hz hum. Is the speaker cable through a wall? Maybe you can use to pull adequate interconnection through the wall. If you can not fix the wiring, or move the submarine, your only option is to get a different sub accepts speaker level input.

I've always wanted one thing because I love Bose and the sound quality of everything they have done. I know it might be a little spendy. If there are some home theater speakers from other well-known and trusted brands that work equally well I am definitely all ears. I'm in the market for the purchase of a very good speaker system!

Call any real Hi-Fi shop and show any number of speakers are out Bose for less money to make considerable, a few who are born instantly to mind are Bowers and Wilkins, Dali Ikon and Tannoy. Do not buy the 'Bose are the best because they are expensive' ideal. Bose are not expensive, are wanted, there is a difference.

Light ceiling in the house has two way cables. I want to replace this light with a fan with built in light. How I can modify it to have a switch fan and one for light.

The pigtail hot in the switch so that the original two hots heats. Place each hot wire in a separate switch, one for the fan, the other for light. Now, raise a 14-2 box fan switch and tie the ground and neutral wires together switch box, the black wire that is left is the leg that can change either fan, or light. NOTE: You must replace the light box for a box fan on the ceiling, light boxes are not designed to withstand the weight of a fan.

I have a 7.1 surround sound receiver. I bought a set of 5.1 speakers and am buying two extra speakers half for the satellite speakers. Wall speakers need for logistical reasons. Most of the speakers on the wall are too large for the location you need but the round shape of the ceiling speakers would work. Is there a problem with the use of loudspeakers in the ceiling on one side of the wall?

I did the same with a 9.1. Basically make sure the depth of the wall. Some interior walls are not deep enough to accommodate the speaker. I Polk, a little more expensive but the final outcome was satisfactory considering that you do not want to cut the drywall and operation of the cable more than once.

Does anyone have any recommendations? It's a bit difficult to check out the outdoor speakers in a store and have a idea of how it will sound in an open backyard. I have three models in mind … Boston Acoustics Voyager 6, Polk Audio Atrium 60 years, Paradigm Stylus 370 v.3 A friend actually owns the paradigms, and the sound is fantastic and I'm leaning towards, but I'd get some input on some others first. You are right that their sound was different. I wish there were real shops shows outdoors. I'm afraid I have not heard the Polk or Paradigm speakers outdoors, but I've been impressed with the Boston Voyager. The Sonance outdoor speakers I have listened to me impressed even more than Boston. Based on what I heard the sound of Paradigm suspect it would be a good outdoor speaker. Sad I can not be more than one help.

First you want make sure your source media is encoded in 5.1, then make sure you have the unit set out in full surround mode. Yes you can buy a separate receiver, however, does not rule out a whole new set … I have a 1000W system for $ 216 from the factory that is perfectly compatible.

I understand that home theaters are not cheap, but I'm not looking for all the package. I just want to have some speakers for surround sound for my 13×13 room because my TV sound is not really big. hmm .. you have to spend a little more than 50 from my experience to ensure a good home surround sound system. save and wait till you get something better would be my advice.
