What is the best way to create a 5.1 surround sound speaker system and software used for surround sound effect?

I bought a 5.1 surround sound system from Creative, but I do not get the surround effect of 2-channel MP3 files that play. Is there a way to distribute the sound to all 5 surround speakers. what software I can use for that. I tried SRS Sandbox, but is not effective? I found a good solution. If the use or PowerDVD to play MP3 files that you can get the surround effect. You can select the Dolby Pro Logic in it .. works well and very good in creative 5.1 surround .. the center speaker also work. fx using winamp with power as the output plugin will also work, but the work of custom center speaker … thanks yahoo

You can not for music files. You can only get the music coming from the left and right front speakers. Surround 5.1 is for movies. You have go to control panel and click sounds and audio devices. Click Advanced in the speaker setting, then switch to 5.1 surround sound. Then should be able to play movies in 5.1 surround sound.

House has two ceiling speakers in 5 rooms. (A total of 10 speakers). I'm buying an amp but I do not know if I need a switch. Thanks!

A speaker selector would be nice so you could choose which room he wanted the sound of, if not all rooms. I know that my amp has built in speaker selection, but I do not think it has 5 different areas, perhaps only two. I guess the answer is yes, you need one, unless you want all the speakers in all the time.

Why is it desirable that the ammeter terminals be made of heavy metal and gave birth to the voltmeter terminals tend to be much lighter and well insulated?

Portions of the area and volume and to reduce the resistance of the conductor, giving the current "soft" path to flow in. Do not want to introduce some resistance on the road would reduce the Current natural flow that is trying to measure. current needs very little or nothing to be developed to measure a strain on all that matters is a good contact point a continuous conductor. ie device physics to determine its optimum form. When installing speakers on the wall?

I have 6 pairs (12 speakers) speaker of the wall and I want to install 2 in all the rooms of my house and I want to put a separate volume control in every room so I do not know what to do because I want to connect to a receiver with AM / FM / CD, but could not find one that could hold 12 loudspeaker.

Pat, it will still work, most of the amplifiers can handle 4 ohm loads ohms. Select the two rooms they need more volume, and put the left and right speakers in parallel together, after leaving the cables the volume controls. These 4 speakers are connected to the receiver as two, and will show a 4 ohm load for the receiver. These four speakers will be able to deliver a slightly higher level, due to lower ohm load. Install The first 4 speakers in the "A" terminals, and install the latest series in the "B" terminals.

Surround speakers?

I have a plasma screen and want to add surround sound. Can anyone recommend speakers, two front and center either long and thin to complement the screen or in miniature, like Bose. (Not considering Bose after reading this forum). Breeding to be small, but not necessarily miniature.

Do not go wireless speakers. It depends on your budget. If money is no object, then you can go for something like the system Mordaunt Short Genie. Undoubtedly, the Mordaunt Short Genie system has been one of the best-reviewed and most praised speaker packages recently. Take a look for yourself and not difficult to see why. Unlike its rivals square satellite speakers with the Genie surround sound system are cast in aluminum. The design is still more through integrated support that doubles as a wall mounting bracket for individual speakers. With an excellent reputation for subwoofers, one would expect that the sub packaged to be something special, and you are right. Bass is deep but controlled, and thanks to the frequency and phase controls, combines perfectly with the satellite speakers. For less than 100 pounds, Eltax make a big five-speaker set, with refreshments for all three front speakers and very good looking slim floorstanders. But you probably still have to be a woofer / sub-woofer. You can even get a complete set of 5.1 surround sound speakers for less than ten pounds! The AS100 is a slimline silver finish set, and even has an active sub-woofer. And is available at a ridiculously cheap price of £ 9.99!

Old Yamaha surround sound system problem right front speaker?

I accept that his old sound system Yamaha i think its like 80 and the front speaekrs well i dont work i well connected all think its because its old should open the receiver and fix it or should I dig some where I think the right terminal speakers in the receiver doesn't work correctly Where can I consider both the repair or can I fix it myself

First, make sure all the speakers are connected "in phase", each speaker wire should have a band that indicates the polarity. These should be connected to the same terminal on each speaker (for example, the terminal side to the right in all the speakers or the terminal left on all speakers (no matter who – right or left – the time it's the same for ALL speakers). If OK swap the front left and right. If the problem now appears on the left, the speaker is defective. If the problem is in the right the amplifier is faulty.
