Anyone tell me the pros and cons of an Aladdin's lamp?

For Aladdin's lamp, I'm talking, of course the lamp with a high fireplace that runs on kerosene.

I grew up with this type of lamp. We burned kerosene and sisters was my job to clean the balloons every day. My job was to keep the lamps filled with oil and trim the wick. They are very cheap to operate and will last for years. He can be very dangerous. If you fall, a fir tree may be large. The balloons are fragile and can break easily. And, of course, you always have the smell of kerosene burning in the fireplace. We did not electricity in our house until the mid-fifties and our family all read and studied and worked by kerosene lamps and lanterns.

A few months ago who had to clean his father's storage unit My late. Found and used a kerosene lamp for light at night. I would like the store, but I know that these things are not safe left unattended in a storage unit. I poured the kerosene, and I have it on a shelf in my room with the lid open. Does kerosene evaporate time? What other steps should I take to make sure it is securely stored?

I had put the lid back and let the cap it.with opportunities any other fuel to light will be almost nothing. leave the kerosene lamps and lanterns in a back room of my house all fed and ready to go in times of power outages.

How I can heat my pool 5x8x3 feet. He sits on the cement in the shade. Solar / gas pool heating are too expensive.?

vivo in a fit. complex so you can only have this group in the cement, but not a right balcony above. You get to be 100 degrees outside, but the water remains too cold. Any suggestion that they are low price?

If you might have found one of the best way is to buy a bomb submergeble support, connect a black hose that picture of the sun and run the hose reels in a sunny area. Start the pump and pump water through the black hose and back into the pool. If you can put 2 or 3 hoses is more water getting hot for most areas of the hose black. This should do the trick. A solar blanket will not work if your in the shade. Remember to put the pump in the pool and then run out of the hose and the coil, and then back to the pool. Does not look better, but it works.
