if first you have to look to the bare wood of each type. smell touch the top to see how much it weighs. then look at the bottom of the unfinished furniture and compare. it takes time to learn this but it is not difficult

What could have seen the lanterns were used to mark the port, or left side of a boat or ship. Some lanterns with red balloons is also used as warning lights during storms and road projects work.

How to paste a booty vintage glass lamp?

I bought a vintage glass booty online and came to light the bottom broken. I wonder what kind of glue to use for repair. glass is a little thick, so you need a good glue to fix it. Thanks!

I would recommend clear silicone adhesive E6000 or Goop The boats of the same company. E6000 flows very easily as Goop has more body. Both can be used to attach directly or contact adhesives where applicable, to touch the parts are separated, hold for 20 seconds and replace – will be very difficult to move when touched. Not require sanding, but if you have touched the edge of cleaning with rubbing alcohol or denatured high percentage will make for a better grip – see the sharpness of the edges. In either binding cases, let stand overnight, but you can use a knife blade to remove pressure out as soon as the piece is in place.

I have a glass chandelier from the Murano glass factory we bought on a trip to Venice many years ago. Recently one of the glass teardrops feel and broke in a move. I’ve searched the web, but can’t seem to get a number to the original factory or find a place that can replace this kind of thing. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance!

I went to the internet and put in Murano chandelier replacement parts, and a lot of websites popped up.
try www.brandlighting.com
www.antiquelighthouse.com
I would do a little more research. Good Luck!
