I am looking for a flat panel monitor that is 22 inches. I would prefer the flat panel monitor to be a widescreen and of good quality. I dont know which company makes good flat panel monitor, but I was hoping that somebody knew that.

So what flat panel monitor would you suggest and why?

Thanks!!

I would suggest the ViewSonic VX2250WM (check link below). This is one outstandig flat panel monitor. It is a 22-inch led widescreen with full hd.

The picture quality is so nice with great colors (your eyes wont get tired even if you sit infront of it for hours.

It has the perfect size in my opinion and a very cool design.

A great purchase, no doubt about it.

How much would a used Sharp Aquos 37 In. Flat Panel HDTV be worth?

Sharp Aquos 37 In. Flat Panel HDTV
I’m considering buying, but I think the selling price is too high. Seller says the unit is 1 year old and in good condition.

I so wouldn’t buy one. You have 0 idea how much actual wear and tear is on it. Okay you go and look at it and it looks great. So no surface damage. Big damn deal. How do you know he didn’t buy it as a floor model (which typically have years of life taken off of them) or he didn’t have the settings cranked and tear off a bunch of the years on it? Now he might well not have, and it could be a legit sell/buy, BUT, its a huge risk. I don’t think I’d pay more than $250 for it frankly.

Right now at best buy, on sale, you can get a Panasonic 42″ TC-P42X1 Plasma for $600. That is an amazing TV. And that’s a ridiculous low price for it. And its 5″ bigger. So we’re talking LCD (weaker technology), Sharp (somewhat weaker brand), and used. So if I’m buying that I’m paying less than 50% of what I could get new right now.

A lcd hdtv i am buying has a computer input. Will it look just as good as my computer monitor? it would save me some space.

It may depend on the make, but it will work well as a computer monitor.

I got my laptop hooked up to my LCD TV using an inexpensive VGA cable (same as the cable from your CPU to the computer monitor) to view my jpeg digital pictures. I could use the mouse to find my photo directories, veiw photos as a slide, etc.

When I hooked up the cable, I had the option of using the TV as the computer monitor or have both the laptop screen and the TV display on.

What they are suggesting is not dual displays, but using a monitor instead of the laptop screen.

You need to go to your display properties, and tell it to use the screen as a second monitor. I do this in Windows XP by right clicking on a ‘blank’ spot on the desktop, and choosing properties. You can also get there through control panel. Check out the link below.

I would like to mount a telephone on the wall without using a telephone wall mount jack. Can I just screw 2 screws into the wall, and have the telephone on the wall with those screws, or do I need a wall mount jack?

why dont you want to use a wall mount jack?
even if you do not actually wire the jack, putting the plate on the wall is going to be the easiest way to mount the phone on the wall…

but if you insist on not putting a wall jack up, then you can use 2 drywall screws at the appropriate distance away to mount the phone.. i would recommend using plastic anchors…

seeking a wide vintage brass canary's cage?

I really need one thats vintage canary cage at least 16 inches wide, preferably brass. I checked all the local antique stores and pet shops, but do not have one. useful links, please? oh yes, one that does not kill the bird, we actually live and know you have to b very long so they can jump from perch to perch. I just need help locating a cage! I mean fly-hop, and there are toys b would.

All antique brass cages to kill the bird. They should only be used for decoration. Your Canary live a short life if put it in one of these. You can opt for something like a vintage bamboo cage. This will not harm your canaries and canaries do not chew through bamboo.
