I can not seem to understand what sets the style Art Nouveau styles of art. It seems that only a little of everything and I can not a link b / w everything. Does anyone know?

Art Nouveau was the principal artistic style for Europe about ten years … if it seems difficult to distinguish other works of art in the eye may be because many of its elements are still used today. It was a style that was used in paints, as well as architecture and fashion. One of its main features was the use of representations wave form of things like shells, insects, feathers, plants etc design elements. This does not mean all art using these elements are of Art Nouveau style, or that all the modern art using only these issues. Many artists painted art nouveu women (at the time) seductive and sexy poses. There is a kind of decadent art much nouvea art. You really should use some basic research skills and find a good book in the library or public image of Google and compare the many examples of the time. Comparison of the art of the previous era of Victoria, and you will see the similarities and differences that will help you understand better. If not, perhaps art is not his forte. Now: Keep away from Wikipedia and splicers cutting surely bury him in too much information ….

Antiques Victorian chest of drawers without keys. "I can somehow get some made?

I have a Victorian antique chest of drawers without keys. The beautiful ornate locks are there, and I want to keep, using a key fashion. Is there a solution that is to get some skeleton old type key that I can use the locks on the drawers?

Couple suggetions … Contact several antique shops in your area to see if a "key ring" that many of them have around the workshop. You may be familiar with the type of the breast and have one available. Locksmith services may be necessary … also with his magic "key ring" to try. Good luck.

Can anyone take me through the steps to replace the taking of a sconce?

Unable to get the lamp from the wall, and even after using WD screws refuse to budge. I deleted the old socket. Do I have to buy a special connector or not this use the same socket as a light table? I'm an "old lady", but I'm very handy with most repairs at home.

If you already have the old socket, then consider that the hardware store or home improvement where you normally purchase and must be able to match for you. Just do the opposite of install that you did to remove it and you should be fine. Just remember to turn the election.
