A good friend and I were fortunate to have the opportunity to go and photograph some wild Red Deer and fallow, which are most large wild animal know that it worked even a few free places across the United Kingdom. These deer great subject for photography, but when is the mating season of deer, they tend to acquire a personality quite different …
Tips on how to photograph wildlife and good advice why not
With a mission to photograph the challenge is always to get as close a picture as possible (obviously, it does not enter any immediate danger) in some cases this is usually done using a telephoto zoom, but as is often the case more close means clearer pictures and more detailed.
Whenever your camera strap around your neck, so if you have to take the drain quickly, you stand less chance of falling, but may be safe if you must run this place one hand on the camera Otherwise, a good chance to attack you in the chin or worse.
The photo shoot was good for us because we had a brilliant sun and a warm day so they can also use a 18 to 70mm wide angle lens with the camera settings left on automatic, but on reflection I would have used my 28 – 200mm.
Red Deer Deer are majestic animals and clearly have enough power and energy to take on humans and defeat several at a time, especially when the mating season.
Getting as close as we do deer certainly put my heart that races, as it fixed his gaze on me and started scratching the ground, as if to charge, then began his wooden rocking from side to side while stabbing field with them. On more than one occasion we found ourselves a little more uncomfortable and exceptionally quick off not trying to run up a safe distance to do so.
My biggest advice for photographing these large animals is to ensure that it is the season mating, or in any case could end up with much more than a few good photos, and not tolerate any form of friendly attention yet.
Try to get as close as possible to the tailwind which often gives an advantage of little importance and could get an image that could have that have not. Wear camouflage clothing and carry as little as possible. Try to have a small base set up so you can leave most of their equipment and property.
