Where does the seed of palm trees come from?
I would get the seed of my Palm Tree. I have a palm (Bush) is 8 feet high. Grape has things looking at it now. What does every year, I get a flower of these things. Where I can get my palm seeds? And how, then how to plant the seeds? Thank you.
Those grape looking things that grow after the flowers are the fruit of palm. The fruit will have a small amount of pulp that surrounds a seed. In order to obtain good germination percent, you have to remove the pulp before seeding. Depending on what type of palm tree is, this is done in several ways. The most common is to put the fruit into a bucket of water and let most of rotting pulp off the seeds (that smells really bad, but usually the most effective method for large numbers of seeds). You can try a combination of removing the pulp with a knife, or dried fruit and then remove with a knife or your fingernails, etc. To some palm nuts are easier to clean, fresh fruit for others is easier. There are natural chemicals in the pulp that inhibit seed germination.
