Oil Kerosene
What are the hazards and / or negative to run my diesel on waste vegetable oil and kerosene?
directly rather than waste oil filtration plant? I'll be using a 2 tank system, heating and cooling diesel, but I understand that when the mixture of kerosene which is not to heat the resulting mixture, as with straight WVO.
It depends on your engine. Most older diesel engines can handle only about 10% biofuels + 90% diesel fuel without modification. Add kerosene pushes the balance towards gasoline. As for not having to heat, kerosene flash point is much lower than that of diesel or WVO. It makes sense that the addition of which would reduce the need to heat the fuel before it reaches the engine. I'm not sure you can refrain from heating completely however.
