Why lamp shades to give an odor after the light on for a period?
Mainly material / fabric light curtains, normally sides of the bed, give off an ammonia type smell. Is this due to heating of dust up / burning, but have tried to remove dust without any result. What causes this and there's an easy solution.
Use a compact fluorescent bulb. Will last longer and not create fresh smell.
