Lamp Bulb

What flood lamp light bulb wattage is my max when more than 1 is listed on the warning label?
I know I cannot exceed the max wattage on the warning label but I cannot tell which is the max for the label on my ceiling built-in flood lamp. The label says: “60W.A (followed by a standard lightbulb symbol); 90W.PAR 38, 100W.R40 (followed by a flood lamp bulb symbol) MAX.
100W.R40, if you are using a R40 bulb.
60W A if you are using an A (standard) bulb.
Thus, 90W PAR 38 for a PAR 38 style bulb.
They list different ones for different kinds of bulbs. The R40 bulbs have thicker glass than a regular one, so they are safer for bigger wattages.
You could also use a high wattage equivalent compact fluorescent.
