Magnatiz casting oil drain plug?
Can I Magnatiz this? At my school they have this thing where you put the magnitude tycoon on a plane to remagnatize it. Can I use this to cast Magnatiz oil drain plug on my car? Is this type of change will cause problems in the car engine? Could a Magnatiz Magnatiz drain plug the oil pan and engine?
Yes, it works, but I doubt the drain plug is cast iron, fwiw. Whenever a magnet is placed in contact with other non-ferrous metal (like the oil pan), the metal will redirect some magnetic field – becomes an extension of one pole of the magnet. It's a very small effect, so the drain plug still has the field more stronger and collection of iron particles (assuming that's what you're expecting) that in the pan.
