I am selling a coffee table on Craigslist for $ 65. Someone wrote me to inform me that I am selling the table Eames is a rare period teak table and that I should be selling for thousands. What is the age Eames? Or when I have to say? It was inherited. Hum! Thank you. Very useful.
Refers to mid-century furniture designed by Charles and Ray Eames (see link). This furniture has been replicated widely and is still today. If you purchased in a retail store, is undoubtedly a replica. If you've inherited, maybe it's the real thing. Be careful, however, the craigslist scammers. Someone can tell you how valuable it is because they want to send you a check for $ 5,000 and give you the balance. Do not fall for that.
