With the recent announcement of the Canon Digital Rebel T1i be available in April 2009, many potential buyers of DSLR difficulty choosing between rebels and T1i Rebel XSi camera. Packets T1i definitely harder, but at a price, if the question is: "Is it worth it?".

Prior to highlight the main differences, Let's take a look at the similarities. Both devices have exactly the same size and both have a 3 inch LCD screen. 9-point autofocus system and Canon's 35 time zone evaluative metering system is also unchanged.

The Integrated helpful Self-Cleaning and Dust Delete Data Detection has also been applied in both chambers. Highlight priority mode the high is available in both houses, but applied somewhat differently in the T1i – remained essentially the same property. Both devices are sold with the same objective of the kit, Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and, as usual, both devices are fully compatible with Canon EF and EF-S range.

The most obvious difference between XSI and T1i is the CMOS APS-C sensor has been improved from 15.1 to 12.2 megapixels megapixels in xsi to T1i. Personally, I am a hunter of megapixels and is not a factor for me, but it is unfortunately what the public knows the purchase of the camera and sold. The T1i is relatively new DIGIC 4, which is much faster than its predecessor DIGIC III is in XSI. This processor that opens is probably the most interesting feature of the T1i – Full HD video recording. This feature only enhances the versatility of T1i XSi by a significant margin, and very soon we will see high quality videos of babies and birthday parties of children on the Internet. While not a substitute for a proper video camera, however, this feature, at least, reduced the number of cases where both an SLR and a video camera must be dragged.

Another advantage of DIGIC 4 is the ability of T1i shot up to 170 large JPEG images continuously from 53 to XSI. Photographers sports shooter or parents their children will appreciate this feature football.

Although LCDs are the same size, resolution 920 000 pixel screen is much better than T1i resolution 230 000 XSI LCD display pixels. This improves the readability of the menu in less than ideal conditions and improves the display of the image and see live accordingly. This is very useful for photographers sometimes a little disappointed by the images out of focus in mail processing.

The ISO range of the XSi is increased from 100-1600 at 100-3200, expandable to 12,800. This feature, with improved noise reduction in the firing T1i opens up possibilities for photographers who been lost with the XSI. Together, these features allow photographers to shoot in darker conditions than before.

The T1i sells for about $ 799 (body only) or $ 899 (with lens kit) cons with $ 580 and $ 699 for XSI. Are the new features T1i is an additional 200? For each of the improvements aside, I can not say that there is one feature that justifies the extra expense, but all the features work together to provide the consumer market with a DSLR entry level is well balanced versatile and easy to use, but also all the features necessary to provide the user with a variety of creative options. If I had to buy my digital SLR first place at this time, I would probably go for T1i.

What is the telephoto lens is recommended for the Canon Rebel XSi?

I recently bought the Canon Rebel XTi with Objective EF-S 18-55mm. I'm a few action photos of the football team and want to buy a telephoto lens. What are the options used to break the bank! Thank you …

You can find the 70-200 f / 4 without IS. Or 70-200 mm f/2.8 is not. This will be a bit short at times and you get right away. However, I take college football any time with or 70-200 mm f/2.8 and take hits. You can also try the 70-300 f/4-5.6, do not confuse this lens with the 75-300 f/4-5.6.
