Sited on the head, the Bar & Restaurant Nineteen came to Colchester in March 2008 and is a lively bar at night and a cozy restaurant family during the day. Open seven days a week, to be proud of a warm and friendly service, good food and drink can be enjoyed all day.

Only a short walk away, situated in the High Street, near the entrance to the Parque del Castillo, The Castle Inn has a very popular garden and makes a great place to sit for the summer while watching the world go by. A nice touch is the Continental style bar that opens onto the garden.

Bars and Pubs in Colchester come in all shapes. Once a former bank building, the Qube Bar & Grill in Crouch Street is a cool, sophisticated bottom-up bar, restaurant seating and a friendly and intimate. In the restaurant you can witness the food is cooked in the open kitchen and then you can enjoy a night at the bar was busy with a selection of DJ's and musicians in vivo.

The hole in the wall, this name was adopted by the pub through the hole that was created to accommodate additional apartments in the pub, and to give a better view of the new Great Eastern Railway. Standing at the top of the only remaining Roman gate, the Puerta de Balkerne, this pub has a lively atmosphere and is very popular among young people, but definitely worth a visit.

New in Colchester and situated between Osborne Street and Vineyard Gate is the chocolate bar. Currently we have little information on this new facility, but it seems to become one of the most popular bars in Colchester has to offer. Watch this space!

Older Colchester's Inn, The Rose and Crown Hotel in East Street, dates from the 14th century and was restored in previous years. The Tudor bar with its roaring fire is a place ideal to sit and relax with a glass of wine.
