Audio Video Control

Audio Video Control
What is the difference between the receivers audio / video and audio / video control center?

I'm trying to decide between Kenwood (KRFX9090D) Audio / Video Control Center and Kenwood (KRF-X9080D) Digital Audio / Video Receiver. However, I do not know the difference between the receiver and central control. If I could explain the difference, then I would be able to make a more educated purchase. Thank you.

A control center switches between sources under control control keyboards, typically data driven and requires a multi-lateral amplifier channel. A receiver switches between sources as well, however, control is through a remote control, and has an internal amplifier. "receiver" simply means "get" AM and FM.
